PRECISION COACHING / DUCK HUNT
Duck Hunt privacy notice
Updated 12 October 2026
Campaign-specific information. Competition terms · General website privacy and cookies
1. Who is responsible?
Precision Rewards, 68 Summers Road, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 3BE, is the controller for the Duck Hunt promotion. Contact will@precision-coaching.co.uk for privacy questions or to exercise your rights. This campaign notice supplements the general website privacy and cookies policy.
2. What we collect
When you play, we record a random session identifier, the ducks found and progress. If you enter, we record your email address, entry identifier and time, acceptance of the rules and their version, eligibility status and any recorded exclusion reason. We also hold confirmation-email content, delivery and retry status, draw and contact records, and—only if you opt in—the consent wording and time, invitation delivery status, withdrawal status and any consultation reservation. Selected winners or reserves may be asked for name, county or region and country, age or residence evidence and information needed to verify eligibility and arrange the prize. Provide only what is requested; the entry form does not ask for health information.
3. Why we use it and our lawful bases
We use information to provide the requested hunt and administer its entry and prize terms, including progress, confirmation, requested training links and prize delivery: performance of the promotion agreement and steps at your request. We rely on legitimate interests for proportionate security, fraud prevention, eligibility review and evidence that the draw was administered fairly. These interests are protecting entrants and running an accountable promotion. Legal obligations may require disclosure or retention. Optional analytics and the separately offered one-time consultation invitation rely on consent. Coaching health information is handled separately with an appropriate lawful basis and special-category condition explained before collection.
4. Your right to object
You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting will@precision-coaching.co.uk. We will consider your circumstances and stop unless there are compelling legitimate grounds or the information is needed for legal claims. Any objection to direct marketing will be honoured.
5. Emails and the training offers
Submitting an entry specifically requests an entry-confirmation email with both TriDot and RunDot thank-you links. We may contact you about eligibility or if selected as a winner or reserve. This is not an ongoing marketing subscription. If you separately opt in, we send one consultation invitation about seven days after entry. The confirmation contains a withdrawal link; the invitation contains an unsubscribe link. Withdrawing stops the invitation but does not remove your competition entry. Reserving a consultation records your request so the owner can send session details and a calendar invitation. The session date and meeting link are sent when arranged; reserving does not create a calendar event automatically. We do not sell the entry list or automatically enrol you in either platform. If you choose a trial link, the provider receives normal connection information and any details you submit there under its own privacy notice; our campaign database does not automatically transmit your entry email to that provider.
6. Who can receive information
Access to campaign entries is limited to authorised Precision personnel who need it for administration. OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure, including Cloudflare, provide hosting and campaign storage. Google Workspace (Gmail) processes entry-confirmation emails from info@precision-coaching.co.uk when the campaign sender is connected, receiving the recipient email and message. Our email provider handles winner correspondence. Service providers may process security and connection information such as IP addresses and browser details. We may share necessary information with professional advisers, regulators or authorities for legal duties or claims. If you win, the allocated coach receives information needed to deliver coaching; onboarding explains any platform sharing.
7. International processing
Hosting, email and analytics providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. International transfers require an applicable UK adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual safeguards and any additional measures needed. Contact us for the countries, providers and safeguards relevant to your information.
8. Cookies and analytics
The pc_duck_session cookie contains a random identifier, not your email address, and lasts up to 90 days. It is used to remember the hunt you request and associate progress with an entry. Owner-only preview uses separate test storage and does not create a live entry or send an email. Optional Google Analytics loads only after the website’s analytics consent and records page and hunt actions without sending entry emails or form answers. You can decline analytics and still enter, or change your choice using Cookie settings. See the general cookies policy for other website technologies.
9. Retention
We will review ordinary entry, delivery, eligibility and linked progress records for deletion or irreversible anonymisation no later than 12 months after the prize has been fulfilled. Shorter retention will be used where records are no longer needed. A limited draw and complaint record may be kept longer where necessary for a specific dispute, regulatory requirement or legal claim; we will review the reason and limit the information retained. Winner coaching and contractual records follow the service retention arrangements explained during onboarding. The 90-day cookie lifetime is not a promise that server records are deleted after 90 days.
10. Winner disclosure and automated selection
The winner’s surname and county or region and country may be supplied on request for three months after the draw as evidence of award, subject to objections or reduced disclosure. Relevant evidence may still be shared with the ASA. No photo or testimonial is required. The draw uses random computer selection, not profiling, a prediction of your suitability or a scoring of your personal characteristics. Eligibility exclusions are reviewed and recorded by an authorised person; contact us about an error.
11. Your rights and complaints
Depending on the lawful basis and circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction, object to legitimate-interest processing, and request portability where applicable. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing already carried out. Erasure is not absolute where records must be kept for legal duties or claims; we will explain any refusal. Withdrawing an entry before the draw removes it from consideration. Contact will@precision-coaching.co.uk; identity verification may be required. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
12. Choices and updates
Entry is voluntary, but a valid email address and confirmation of eligibility and rules are needed to enter and contact you. You can explore the website without entering. We will publish material notice changes here and provide any additional notice required before using data for a new purpose.
